Check Out Freediver Stig Pryds In A New Red Bull TV Episode

Red Bull TV has released a 45-minute documentary episode covering the last two dives of freediver Stig Pryds at the 2016 Vertical Blue competition in Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas.

The film, part of Red Bull TV’s “Breaking the Day” series, covers Stig’s journey as he tries to score enough points to win a place on the podium.

Aside from the competition, the film documents how Pryds used his new-found love of freediving to conquer his debilitating psoriatic arthritis. His journey sees him go in the space of a few years from someone dependent on pain killers and crutches to walking around as a sprightly world class freediver and top competitor.

The documentary explores the last few days of the competition, as Stig battles with various issues to complete his last two dives and get on the podium. There is plenty of dramatic and moving moments in the film, as well as some truly stunning imagery and videography. As for how Stig did, you’ll just have to watch and find out!
