Karol Meyer to appear on ESPN Travel Show

 

Karol Meyer is to star in a programme called TRIZZESPN Brazil Radical Travellers, on 8 June at 22h00 (Brazil time).

The Triz is a monthly program that will present a setof documentaries called Travelling Radical,in a series of seven programmes on some of the more important expeditions thathad passed through Brazil between centuries XIX and XX. People as Charles Darwin, ClaudeLévi-Strauss, Richard Burton, Johann Von Spix e Carl Von Martius, Peter Lund,Auguste Saint-Hilaire, Theodore Roosevelt and Cândido Rondon, who were scholarsof diverse fields of science, had travelled Brazil studying and researchingtheir diverse scientific theories.

In this documentary, the team will go remake thepassage of travel of these scientists in Brazil, combining it with sport of anunknown and unusual adventure, using the best athletes in the field. In the first programme of the series the stepsof the English naturalist CharlesDarwin will be followed. To illustrate his journey through Brazil and its natural beauty, and thetheory of the ” Origin of Species” which will be discussed during the activitiesof documentary; international renowned athlete in freediving, or apnea, theBrazilian Karol Meyer will star in the programme and show the adaptation of thehuman being to the aquatic environment and the interaction of the man with thenature.
