The PADI Freediver Series of courses is designed and geared toward recreational freedivers.
PADI believes a solid foundation in the three main disciplines of freediving provides the diver with the knowledge to explore the underwater world in a safe manner.
The Freediver, Advanced and Master Programs all support the central message to “care for the ocean and aquatic environments while providing robust e-learning materials for self-study and pre-course preparation upon which the Instructor can further develop the students knowledge and skills.”
PADI is promoting its Freediver series of courses at this year’s DEMA Show in Orlando, Florida:
- Freediver Level 1 is accessible in that the vast majority of students can achieve the requirements.
- Advanced Freediver reinforces the Level 1 skills and builds upon them increasing dynamic distance and
depth. - Master Freediver explores real relaxation techniques and the importance of understanding diet and fitness in order to further advance limits without making it too difficult.
