Brussels, October 26, 2004 – Patrick Musimu has announced a new world record attempt in Hurghada, Egypt.
The event, to be held July 5th – 8th , 2005, will be the first freediving world record supported by the Egyptian Red Sea Government. Additional sponsors include the Egyptian Travel & Tourism Chamber, the Red Sea Association for Diving & Watersports and Red Sea Search & Rescue HRG MMC. Television outlets providing live coverage include TV5, Belgian TV and Egyptian TV.
The event schedule comprises Musimu’s 4 world record attempts in various freediving disciplines, culminating in his No Limits dive to 200 meters.
