Sea&Sea’s new Optical Dome Port II series includes five Optical Dome Ports in three different diameters, meeting the needs and demands of underwater photographers shooting a wide range of lenses.
The domes use high quality BK7 crystal glass with two different anti-reflective coatings to optimize image quality, one for the exterior and the other for the interior of the Optical Domes.
The 230mm dome is a versatile option for various fisheye and wide angle lenses and is ideal for over-under shots.
The 165mm is compatible with a wide range of lenses, but especially ideal for 8-15 mm lenses. Both the 165mm and 230mm are compatible with Internal Correction Lenses which correct image aberration and distortion.
The 100mm port is the most compact and lightweight optical dome port Sea&Sea offers. This dome comes in three sizes and is designed exclusively for fisheye lenses. The 100 S is designed exclusively for the Nikon AF DX Fisheye Nikkor ED 10.5mm F2.8G. The 100 M is designed exclusively for the Tokina AT-X 107 DX Fisheye 10-17mm F3.5-4.5, for Nikon and Canon cameras and the 100 L is designed exclusively for Canon’s EF 8-15mm F4L USM and Nikon’s AF-S Fisheye Nikkor 8-15mm F3.5-4.5 E ED. This set up is ideal for wide-angle macro, allowing the strobe to get closer to the dome.
