Sofía Gómez Uribe is a Colombian world record holding freediver. She was in Dean’s blue hole in the Bahamas for Vertical blue, the most prestigious freediving competition of the year, where she came third overall. After the comp, Daan and Sofia stayed an extra day to film this – the fourth installment in the ‘Sofía rocks’ series.
Sofía hopes to return to VB, and crack the 100 meters. She also has a freediving school in Dominica called Deep Dominica.
