Shortly after Tanya’s recent world record’s in the Turks and Caicos Islands she received and email from the Creative Director at Habitat UK, a fashionable home store established in the early 1960s by Sir Terrance Conran.
In celebration of there 40th Birthday, habitat is launching "Future Habitat" and together with celebrities such as Luciano Pavarotti (hammock), Lennox Lewis (skipping rope), Linford Christie (Shoe storage) and Richard Branson (lampshade), Tanya will be designing a home furnishing item that will go into production and be for general sale in 2004.
During a recent media tour in the UK, Tanya met with the creative designers of Habitat UK Ltd and both sides have been brainstorming ideas about Tanya’s product. At the last meeting it was decided to settle for Oxygenated water in a custom bottle with matching glass.
The prototype of Tanya’s design will be auctioned for charity.
