William Trubridge Postpones March World Record Attempt

Recently we announced that William Trubridge was planning to try and best his current world records in Free Immersion (FIM) record as well as Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) during March 2016.  Since then we’ve heard online reports that William has decided to postpone his attempt till sometime later in the year, possibly around July, which has now been confirmed by William.

Speaking to DeeperBlue.com, he said:

“I suffered a bout of illness last year, which was then combined with lost time dealing with the aftermath of [Hurricane] Joacquin. I haven’t regained enough form since then to be confident going into the attempt yet.”

We wish William a speedy return to strength and form and look forward to seeing him return to his record attempt in July.
