Asian Freediving Cup Begins This Weekend

The Asian Freediving Cup, the largest annual freediving competition in Asia, will take place this weekend from June 8th through June 10th.

Organized every year by Freedive Panglao, the competition will take place at Doljo Beach, in front of the “Heaven Dive Resort,” located on Panglao Island’s northwest coast. The competition platforms will be anchored around 200 meters/656 feet from shore with shuttle boats bringing athletes to and from the competition area in regular intervals.

The event will be capped at 60 athletes competing in the Constant Weight (CWT), Free Immersion (FIM) and Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) disciplines with each day concentrating on a single depth discipline.
