Final Few Athlete Spaces Left For “Wimbledon Of Freediving” Competition

For those of you interested in competing, one of the pinnacle competitions of Freediving is Vertical Blue.  The competition is organised by William Trubridge and is held at Deans Blue Hole in the Bahamas.

Trubridge has announced on Facebook that there are still 5 place left for the 2015 competition being held between April 27 – May 7 2015.  The whole competition is limited to 42 athletes competing in 3 disciplines – Constant Weight No Fins (CNF), Constant Weight With Fins (CWT) and Free Immersion (FIM).

Athletes compete for a prize pool worth $20,000 in cash and Suunto dive computers.
