New Zealand Freediver to attempt Static Freediving World Record

New Zealander Kathryn Nevatt (nee McPhee), who previously held the Freediving World Record in Dynamic No Fins (DNF) in 2008, has announced that she is going to be going to try and beat the current Women’s Static Apnea record of 8 minutes 23 seconds held by Natalia Molchanova.

Nevatt hasn’t announced when or where she will be attempting the record as of yet.
