Anticipation is building for the roster of world-class athletes who will descend upon Deans Blue Hole in the Bahamas this November to test their mental & physical limits in freediving. Â Over 36 athletes from 19 countries in 5 continents will brave new depths between November 27 through Dec 5, 2014. The annual elite freediving competition is now at full capacity for this year’s event, but the good news is that organizer William Trubridge has announced early dates for Vertical Blue 2015.
“VB 2014 is full, but we’re already announcing VERTICAL BLUE 2015. April 27 – May 7 (9 days of competition in CNF, CWT and FIM). Perfect conditions, unlimited depth and cash prizes. Advance athlete registration is now open!! Write to events@verticalblue.net.” Mr. Trubridge shared on the facebook page of his freediving school.
