New Zealand — As reported by Mark Geenty in local Kiwi news — the Dominion Post — Dave Mullins is preparing for an epic weekend. A well-respected champion already, Mullins will be performing in front of official judges to claim what he hopes will become a couple of new freediving World Records. He will be attemtping to oust Fred Sessa, who holds the current world record in Dynamic with 255 meters. And Dave will also be vying to advance his own World Record in dynamic without fins as well. Mullins and Tom Sietas currently share the DNF title with 213 meters.
Thanks to Mullins’ sponsors Placemakers Evans Bay and Dive Kapiti, we will all soon know how Mullins fares at these attempts. DeeperBlue wishes Dave the best of luck.
